Our National Writers
Our project is a partnership between three European countries and plans to involve the students in researches and discussions about some of the writers whose work is widely considered to represent their nation and community. The activity of the project will be based on' Bridge' 21 model of learning which is designed to support an innovative 21st Century learning.
The objectives of the project will be:1. To know better their national/ European literature.2. To help students develop skills such as communication, collaboration, positive interdependence.3. To encourage students to achieve a common goal and develop them as confident learners.4. To reinforce our students' existing ICT skills and acquire new ICT skills5. to improve our students' language skills. Involving students into making presentations and interacting with European partners will improve their language intake.Activity 1. November- December 2018 - presentation of the partners using eTwinning and Skype meetings.Activity 2. January 2019 Each country select a number of five pictures, upload them on eTwinning and discuss them and present what they relate to. Using forumActivity 3. February- March 2019 Each teacher explain the concept of 'national bard' to the students. They choose one of their writers and make short presentations using padlet. This activity is done with students organized in national teams.Activity 4. April-May Writing an international digital story using characters from their national writers stories. Students could use padlets or story jumper.Evaluation: Team members reflect on how they worked together and what they personally learned during the activities.
